Hannah Rothschild on Mandelson the Real PM?

Film maker Hannah Rothschild takes us behind the scenes making her documentary with Peter Mandelson painting an intimate portrait of one of the most controversial figures in British politics. She was granted access to all areas of Mandelson's life from October 2009, shadowing the then First Secretary of State and Business Secretary through to June this year, following Labour's election failure. She shows clips from the film showing the real Peter Mandelson. As she explains it was some of the observational scenes of him at work, such as the yogurt incident, that prove the most revealing about his character and foibles.
